When we realized that there were no products like this on the market we knew it had to be made!

FIRST We started with a very rough prototype (TOP) made of modified "Off The Shelf" parts and used a standard heat sensor from another product for the actuator. It functioned perfectly and showed us that the concept was a success!

 

The SECOND prototype (Square Blue second down) was made by a prototype production company but was prohibitively Expensive!

 

The THIRD (clear acrylic for display only) Was successful and we made several of these out of black Acetal plastic by machining them ourselves on a metal lathe. These were lower cost but still too time consuming.

FOURTH was the final successful design. After several 3D printed prototypes (similar to below) we settled on this Five Port Valve" Which controls the flow of water into the toilet tank allowing cold water from the hot water pipe. but NOT allowing Hot water to fill your toilet tank.
